Services provided:

  • Process grant proposals for institutional signature.
  • Review and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, Material Transfer Agreements, Memoranda of Understanding, and clinical study agreements/budgets.
  • Assign log-ins and assist with electronic submissions in NIH Commons, NSF Fastlane, and other electronic research administration systems.
  • Review Assurances: Human Subjects, Animals, Biohazards, Radiation, and Billing Physician Service.
  • Provide education/training in: Writing and submitting grants, pre-award and post-award grant management, budgeting for clinical trials, research assurances, legal issues in research, peer review process, and writing research papers.
  • Administer the Intramural Research Program and the Excellence in Research Awards

Transferring grants
Identifying funding sources
Development of grant budgets
Development of research programs/policy
Legal issues in research
Transition awards to grants accounting
